Mjölner Necklace

A complete necklace featuring a Thor's Hammer (Mjölner) pendant. The piece is framed beautifully with a leather cord decorated with natural fiber and simple beads. A highly popular design, available in both pewter and bronze finish. The length is fully adjustable with sliding knots.

This necklace is part of our design series of complete pagan necklaces, where we combine historical pendants with leather, bone, and horn to create a Viking jewel that suits everyone — then as now.

Since organic materials such as leather, wood, and horn do not survive in the ground over time, we know little about what Viking jewelry actually looked like when worn. What is found are the metal, stone, and glass pieces that have been preserved. With these necklaces, we have created a vision of how such jewelry may have been assembled and worn.
