Color results
- On very light blonde hair at level 9+, Bruno Mink shows its truest mink brown with soft violet nuances.
- On darker bases, the result appears deeper and richer.
- For a softer, more translucent finish, apply to towel-dried hair and process for 20–30 minutes.
- For deeper mink brown with enhanced purple depth, apply generously to dry hair and process for 30–60 minutes.
Your final result depends on your starting level, base color, porosity, hair condition, application amount and processing time. Longer processing, heavier application and dry-hair application create a more intense, multidimensional result.

Prepare your hair
Reduce the use of heating tools during the week before bleaching. Wash with a deep-cleansing shampoo before coloring and skip conditioner and other hair products so the color can adhere more evenly.
For the clearest result, bleach to level 9–10 blonde with Herman’s Amazing Bleach Kit. Natural gray hair also needs to be bleached before coloring because direct dye will not attach to unbleached gray hair. If your bleached hair is too yellow, use No Yellow Shampoo or No Yellow Mask for 1–3 minutes to neutralize the warmth.
How to use
Apply a thick layer of Bruno Mink to clean, unconditioned dry or towel-dried hair. Leave it on for 15–120 minutes. For longer-lasting color, leave it for 2+ hours or even overnight. The conditioner-based formula nourishes your hair like a deep conditioner while you color.
Rinse with lukewarm water and enjoy your mink brown hair color. The result can last from a few weeks to several months depending on your shade, starting base, hair condition, processing time and care routine.
Maintain your color
- Wait at least 24 hours before your first shampoo.
- Wash with cool or lukewarm water and wash less often to help reduce fading.

- Store leftover color or mix it with conditioner for a regular touch-up.
